The website is addressed to healthcare professionals and industry operators. It is not intended for patients or minors.
The servers hosting the website automatically record some technical data: IP address, date and time of the request, requested page, browser and device type. This data is needed to run the website, keep it secure and detect abuse. Legal basis: legitimate interest of the controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). It is kept for as long as needed for these purposes and, in server logs, for no more than 12 months.
If you write to us through the form on the Contacts page or at info@biologika.it, we process your first and last name, email address, any facility or clinic, the content of your message and any other data you choose to provide. We use it to reply to your request for information on products, clinical training or distribution. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for handling correspondence, legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)). Retention: 24 months from the last contact, unless a commercial relationship begins; in that case the data follows the retention periods of the contractual relationship and of tax obligations (10 years).
Providing the data marked as mandatory in the form is necessary to reply. Without it we cannot handle your request.
If you send your CV to info@biologika.it, we process the data in the CV and in your email to evaluate your application. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Please do not include in your CV data that is not needed for selection, such as health data or political or religious opinions. Retention: 12 months from receipt, after which the data is deleted; if you want to be contacted for future selections, you can write to us to extend the retention period. This notice also applies to CVs received without a specific request for a position (Art. 111-bis of the Italian Privacy Code).
The website uses Jetpack Stats (Automattic Inc.) to measure page visits in aggregate form. This tool is activated only if you accept statistics cookies in the banner. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time from “Manage consent” at the bottom of the page.
Some pages embed YouTube videos (Google Ireland Limited) and Google Maps. Until you give consent in the banner, this content is not loaded and no data is sent to Google. If you accept, Google may collect data such as your IP address and information on how you use the content, according to its own privacy notice. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Data may be processed by authorised Biologika staff and by providers acting on our behalf as data processors: the website hosting provider (Aruba S.p.A.), IT and website maintenance providers, and the email service provider. Automattic Inc. (Jetpack Stats) and Google (YouTube, Google Maps) process data according to their own notices, for the services you activate with your consent. The data is not disclosed to the public.
Using Jetpack Stats and Google services may involve a transfer of data to the United States. The transfer takes place on the basis of a European Commission adequacy decision (EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or standard contractual clauses. All other processing described in this notice takes place within the European Economic Area.

To exercise your rights write to info@biologika.it or to the PEC address postmaster@pec.biologika.it. We reply within one month of the request.
If you believe the processing breaches the GDPR, you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, garanteprivacy.it, piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Rome) or take legal action.
